Kyle McGowan is a skilled executive with over 20 years of experience leading institutional change and delivering results. He is a strategist and problem-solver with a proven track record in the areas of strategic and campaign planning, development and alumni relations, management and operations, marketing, and communications and brand management.
Kyle served in a variety of executive development roles at Vanderbilt and Georgetown Universities where he led efforts to create new fundraising programs, redesign organizational structures, develop new engagement strategies and launch new brands. He delivered on a $250 million campaign fundraising effort, set many new fundraising records and implemented many new programs that have stood the test of time.
The signature of Kyle’s work is to understand business objectives and deliver innovative solutions. He combines big-picture insight with knowledge of operational details to formulate market-aligned strategies and tactics. He has extensive experience working with university presidents and leaders to help organizations articulate the vision and roadmap and lead organizational change.
Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Oregon and a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University. He has served as a speaker for CASE and as a member of the AGDC.
